Dental Implants Cost

Whether you’re missing a single tooth or multiple teeth, dental implants are an incredible investment you can make in your smile.

Standard and Mini Dental Implants Differ in Total Cost

No matter how tooth loss occurs, natural teeth that are missing must be replaced. However, regular dental implants aren’t for everyone. In certain cases, mini dental implants may be recommended. As their name suggests, mini dental implants are a smaller version of their standard counterparts. They can be a tremendous solution for patients who have lost a substantial amount of jawbone structure.

If you opt for mini dental implants, the cost will be significantly less than the average cost of standard implants. As with traditional implants, you will need multiple mini dental implants to support a full denture.

Stages of the Dental Implant Procedure and Their Impact on Cost

Here’s what our dentistry patients in Colorado Springs, CO, must take into account when considering the cost of dental implants to replace one tooth with a crown or several teeth with dentures:

Surgical Placement

During dental implant placement surgery, the implant is placed into your jawbone to act as an artificial tooth root. Surgically placing implants to support crowns or dentures costs anywhere from $900-$2,100, depending on the type of implant.

Osseointegration

The surgical stage is followed by healing and allowing the implant to integrate with the jawbone. This period is known as osseointegration. You must not skip this step during your treatment as it may increase your chances of dental implant failure. Care during this stage requires a separate fee.

Restoration

The third stage is the restorative stage, where our dentist places your final crowns or dentures. Replacing a single missing tooth will require a single crown. Replacing multiple or larger gaps may require a combination of crowns and bridges; replacing an entire arch requires a full denture.

Financing and Insurance for Implants What You Should Know

When it comes to getting the dental work you need, cost shouldn’t stand in the way. That’s why we work with you to make paying for treatment as affordable as possible through insurance and financing options.

Insurance

Most dental insurance plans do not cover the cost of implants. However, insurance may cover a portion of the costs for the restorations used to replace teeth as well as preparatory treatments like a bone graft. We’ll work with you to maximize your benefits.

Financing

We strive to make paying for our dental services as convenient and accessible as possible. Our practice accepts Lending Club Financing® and Sunbit financing to help patients cover the costs of dental work not covered by insurance.
